The route starts at Manzanares el Real, a village located at the northwest side of Madrid. You can arrive there by car or by public bus. This last option is a good one, you can take bus number 724 at Plaza de Castilla, just in the center of Madrid, at it will take you to Manzanares el Real. This trekking takes you through the Natural Park of la Pedriza, a very representative zone of Madrid, so this route is a very advisable one to have a good start in Spanish mountaineering.
